Description

This has become my favorite image taken with the T560.

Night was very good. Out of 14000 images, i kept :
2742x1" for foreground - FWHM = 0.95" after stacking
9228x1" for background - FWHM = 1.1" after stacking
450x2" per color layer ( RVB )

I got a lot of details, and with short exposures and selection,  i'm getting closer and closer to images taken with 8 meters - class telescopes.
As an example, here is probably the best ground-based image of this object, taken by Gemini North observatory in 2005, and featured here in APOD :

APOD: 2005 January 25 - NGC 6946: The Fireworks Galaxy (nasa.gov)

This galaxy is so interesting, with so much to show despite being hidden behind our miljy way.
You can notice a lot of star clusters far on the edges, that belong to the galaxy as well
With good seeing, stars are taking less space and you can manage to bring out spiral arms very far from the center.
And there is this enormous blue star cluster on the right side
Lots of distant galaxies in the background as well

Hope you enjoy it as much as i do

Clear skies !

Romain
